THE PROCESS

DNA can be involved from the outset and take clients through the entire process from conception to completion, delivering reassurance and giving you peace of mind throughout.


INITIAL CONSULTANCY PHASE

  • We start to engage with you the client by initially visiting on a no fee basis to discuss how we might work together in order that we fit in with the client’s methodology and provide the flexibility that our clients require.


  • A DNA consultant will then interview key members of the organisation in order to work out your needs and then we will compile a fully comprehensive working brief.


  • Then taking into account factors such as budgets, planning restraints and possible site issues we will present you with a document outlining the various options available to achieve your aims.


  • With DNA’s professional experience on side you can assure to proceed with your building project, avoiding the usual frustrations or any major incidents.


  • Our associate architects and engineers, chosen for their experience within your sector, will be involved at these early stages in order that all options are covered.


PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

  • DNA will again work closely with the client, providing the bespoke liaison between you and the contractor, allowing you the peace of mind that your interests are being looked after.


  • This is the management of the construction phase. Once planning permission has been granted by the local authority planning department, DNA will start the tender process in conjunction with the client, which comprises writing the tender document, going out to tender, reviewing the tenders and finally selecting a contractor.


  • Having selected a contractor, a time line for the project will be established and after a short mobilisation phase, work will start on site.


  • Through a series of regular meetings and reports, DNA will work closely with the client throughout the construction of the building project to keep you the client informed.


  • Retained by the client, DNA will complete the project on time and within budget, reducing the risk and overspend that occurs all too often. We will save you time and money, being completely focused on the project whilst you run your business.
